Amber Laurel Correctional Centre

The Amber Laurel CC is located in Emu Plains, 60 kms west of Sydney. Amber Laurel CC is gazetted as a correctional centre, however, is operated in line with practices of 24-hour court cells. The centre has 28 double cells that can accommodate a maximum of 56 people.

We have inspected Amber Laurel CC twice since 2017 as part of the 24 hour Court Cell Complexes in NSW reports published in 2018 and 2022.
