The Inspector of Custodial Services will consider whether the available staff training by Corrective Services NSW builds capacity in staff to perform their roles so as to be able to:
- safely and humanely manage people in custody, with regard to their specific risks and needs,
- conduct themselves and interact with management, staff and people in custody in an appropriate and professional way,
- understand and meet legislative obligations.
The Inspector of Custodial Services will consider any other relevant matters in the course of this review
