The inspection of John Morony Correctional Centre is scheduled to occur in June 2023.
John Morony Correctional Centre is a medium-security facility for male offenders in the Francis Greenway Correctional Complex. It is located in Sydney approximately 5km south of Windsor.
Our inspection will focus on:
- custodial conditions, including safety and security
- treatment, care, and well-being of inmates
- rehabilitation of inmates, including programs, education, employment, and preparation of release
- resources and systems, including the staffing management of each correctional centre
The Inspector of Custodial Services may consider any other relevant matters in the course of this inspection.
