Annual reports

The Inspector of Custodial Services is required to produce an Annual Report to NSW Parliament within the period of 4 months after 30 June every year.

The Inspector of Custodial Services Act 2012 outlines that the Annual Report must include:

a description of the Inspector’s activities during that year in relation to each of the Inspector’s principal functions,
an evaluation of the response of relevant authorities to the recommendations of the Inspector,
any recommendations for changes in the laws of the State, or for administrative action, that the Inspector considers should be made as a result of the exercise of the Inspector’s functions.
