Lithgow Correctional Centre

Lithgow CS is a male maximum security facility located at Marrangaroo 7 kilometres west of Lithgow in the Blue Mountains and approximately 152 kilometres west of Sydney. The centre accommodates approximately 460 inmates.

We have inspected Lithgow twice since 2016, most recently in February 2021 for our Lithgow Correctional Centre Report that was published and tabled in NSW Parliament in May 2022.
