Wellington Correctional Centre (Wellington CC) was last inspected in 2017 as part of a themed inspection focusing on the management of women on remand in NSW.
Wellington CC is located at Wellington, approximately 350km from Sydney. The centre is situated on Wiradjuri land. Wellington CC can accommodate 616 male and female remand and sentenced inmates and provides accommodation for maximum, medium and minimum security classification inmates.
