The Compulsory Drug Treatment Correctional Centre is located on the Parklea Correctional Centre Complex, approximately 40 kilometres north-west of Sydney. The centre provides intensive drug treatment and reintegration support to men whose offending is connected to their substance use. Participants are supported to progress from closed detention to community supervision.
We have inspected the Compulsory Drug Treatment Correctional Centre twice as part of the Inspection of the Residential Facilities and the Compulsory Drug Treatment Correctional Centre Reports that were tabled in NSW Parliament in 2020 and 2025.
