Inspector of Custodial Services

Integration Support Centre

The Integration Support Centre is located at Campbelltown on Dharawal land. It offers short-term accommodation for up to 26 men on their release from secure custody. The centre aims to support men to secure appropriate longer term accommodation that is consistent with the conditions of their community supervision orders.

The site previously operated as a periodic detention centre and the Campbelltown Community Offender Support Program but commenced operations as the Integration Support Centre in May 2016.

We have inspected the Integration Support centre twice. We first inspected it in 2019 as part of the inspection of Kariong and Kirkconnell Correctional Centres and the Integration Support Centre report that was tabled in NSW Parliament in 2020. The second time we inspected the Integration Support Centre was for the Inspection of the Residential Facilities and the Compulsory Drug Treatment Correctional Centre report, that was tabled in NSW Parliament on 2 June 2025 and made 48 recommendations.
